After you download, or while you're downloading, read these instructions! When your download is complete, click on the "start" button @ the lower left hand corner of your computer screen. Then click "find", then click "files or folders". It will then bring up a box, where it says "named" type "aim95.exe", then check to make sure that where it says "look in" you select "my computer", and then click on the button that says "find now". When it finds the file, double click it. It will then bring up a blue window, and a box that has the choices "yes" and "no", click on "yes". The next screen will have a few choices, click on "next". Next screen, click on "next" again. you guessed it, Click on "next" again. Now its going to count up through 100% and pull up a window that only has the choice of "ok". Next, in order to register a new screen name and password, you will click on "yes". And then click on "Register New Screen Name". Then it will pop up a window on your Internet Explorer, or Netscape that has some boxes, and you just fill it out, remember that AOL is big, so you might have to add some numbers or something or make a word up for your screen name. From there you just follow the directions.

When you're finished getting a screen name, go to the Instant messenger, and type in your screen name and password and click "sign on".
